Huge thank you to our event partners - Game On Recycling and Sustainability Victoria.
As well as all of our speakers and supporters from:
We are on a green and gold runway to the Brisbane 2032 Climate Positive Olympic Games. Before we get there, we have a race to win in sport.
Our sporting future (at all levels of play) is facing significant risk. Our favourite venues, fields, courts, ovals are experiencing climate stress. Our love of sport drives overconsumption through vast amounts of field of play equipment, merchandise and uniforms.
We need to win the race to regenerate, to protect people, planet, and prosperity, in a fair and just way.
The Circularity of Sport will bring together a cross-sector of Australian industry for a morning filled with presentations, candid conversations and a hands on mini hackathon. Join individuals and organisations who are leading the sustainable sport revolution. Brands switching from a business model underpinned by growing consumption to leading sustainable sport design
Organisations working to extend the life, upcycle and recycle materials across the sports industry
Innovators on the cutting edge of disruptive design through digital and virtual engagement
The grass roots sports clubs and volunteers who deliver play for social connection and physical activity.
The event is just the beginning and is part of a much bigger movement. It will be aligned to the United Nations Sports for Climate Action Framework and circular economy principles.
This is a not for profit event being run by Green Planet Sport and Let Me Be Frank with support from our partners - Game on Recycling and Sustainability Victoria.
